We support children in marginalized situations through collecting and sharing evidence on the use and implementation of telepresence technology in educational settings.

Telepresence robots help children and young adults across Europe attend school and connect with classmates, even when they can not physically be there. Our network, the Telepresence Experience Network’s (TEN), aim to spread information about the usage of telepresence technology in education in Europe, with the goal of creating easy access to telepresence technology for those who can benefit from it.

On this website you’ll find an overview of research conducted on the use of telepresence technology in school and resources on how to best implement telepresence technology in your classroom. The network have hosted three seminars and three research workshops in Denmark, Sweden and Norway from 2021–2023.

We hope that the network will continue to grow and below is how the network will work in the future, how to participate in the network, what we have learnt, and where the focus lies in future cooperation.
